WHY DID GALATASARAY NOT TAKE THE FIELD ON THE FINAL DAY? WHAT IS THEIR BIG PLAN?

I shared some notes during the final series on Twitter. In this article, I am going to compile these notes and also I am going to try explaining Galatasaray’s plan and show the whole picture. 

LET’S START FROM THE DATE OF 17 JANUARY 2014, NOT FROM “JUNE 17^th ATTITUDE” PROPAGANDA

Galatasaray had published a declaration on their official web site on 17 January 2014. Then they removed it because of their fans’ reaction. In this declaration following information were written:   

We are disappointed to saw our supporters who were chanting offensive remarks in Galatasaray Liv Hospital – Lokomotiv Kuban basketball game. In addition, these negative behaviours have continued for a while.
Who are these groups? What are their purposes?
Our fans have great pride in them and because of these groups and with their ill mannered behavior, this has caused a  bad feeling within, along with an unfriendly environment. We stand against this rude behavior and will not tolerate it. For the last year these 'fans' have received warning and requests that this is unacceptable behavior. We have warned that if this continues
we will close our Basketball Branch we will close our Basketball Branch. Galatasaray Sports Club

This declaration published and *removed* by Galatasaray, which didn’t take the field for the 7^th match of the final series for security reasons, means to two main things to us;  

1- Security problems and swearing occurred in Abdi Ipekci.
2- Galatasaray planned and thought about downsizing in basketball branch approximately 6 months ago.

GALATASARAY WAS PUNISHED BY UEFA FOR NOT OBEYING TO FINANCIAL FAIR PLAY RULES

As you know, Galatasaray was punished by UEFA for not obeying to Financial Fair Play Rules. As to this penalty; (see http://www.sporekonomi.com/2014/05/galatasarayn-aldg-ffp-cezas-sonras.html)

Galatasaray have to make 62.3 million euro profit next season because of FFP penalties.

Every club can only spend specific money identified in FFP Rules. UEFA declared that Galatasaray exceeded 9.4 million Euros the budget. Today, as to the declaration made by Galatasaray from the company, this exceeding quantity was calculated as 4.3 million Euro.

In the light of this information, Galatasaray reached an agreement with UEFA for the next 2 seasons (2014-15 and 2015-16) As to this agreement: 

• The company accepted that, it will provide the breakeven compatibility to the end of the 2015-2016 monitoring period.
• This means that Galatasaray’s breakeven results of 2012-2013, 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 reporting periods have to remain within acceptable deviation.
• Thus, Galatasaray cannot make more than 30 million Euro loss in these three- year period (for details see http://www.sporekonomi.com/2014/02/uefa-financial-fair-play-kurallar-ve.html)
• Galatasaray's net loss in 2012/13 season is 99.9 million Tl (equals to 42.3 million Euro), their net loss in 2013/14 season is approximately 151 million TL (equals to approximately 50 million Euro). For these calculations their two-year net loss is approximately 92.3 million Euro. In the light of this information, Galatasaray has to profit 62.3 million Euro profit in next season (without exceptions). In the contrary case, UEFA can impose a new penalty to Galatasaray.
• On the other hand, Galatasaray gave another important commitment to UEFA; they cannot increase the wages of their employee (including football players) during these two seasons.
• 200,000 Euro will be purchased by UEFA from two-year total UEFA incomes of Galatasaray.
• Galatasaray has to file the UEFA Financial Control Institution about their progress report and inform UEFA about their financial progress in every six months.  

It seems pretty obvious that Galatasaray cannot stand economically despite the stadium they constitute with government’s helps and profiteering that they did with government’s tolerances. Also they have a lot of tax and other debts. In these conditions, how can they afford the costs of basketball branch? What are the costs of basketball branch for Galatasaray? Let’s talk about that.

WHAT ARE THE COSTS OF BASKETBALL BRANCH FOR GALATASARAY?

Our source is Sporekonomi.com again. (It’s a economy blog that gives information about news, which cannot be argued technically only from PUBLIC DISCLOSURE PLATFORM and clubs’ official resources)

In brief; only in 2013, basketball branch’s cost to is 61.1 Million TL. Even free tickets given to Galatasaray by Turkish Basketball Association in the final match – Proven by the words of Turkish Basketball Association president- this branch’s total income is 21.9 Million TL.
So, the loss of the branch is 39.2 Million TL in 2013. This amount is approximately 15 Million Euro.

In other words, can Galatasaray spend 15 Million Euro to their basketball branch while they have to file the UEFA Financial Control Institution about their progress report and inform UEFA about their financial progress in every six months and also profit 62.3 million Euro profit in next season (without exceptions). Please think about that.

WHAT HAPPENED IN FINAL SERIES?

I wrote it before but I am writing it again:

Just forget the previous events for a second. Let’s talk it from the middle. You used violence in Women’s Final Series. You sent administrators of Fenerbahçe to the top of Abdi İpekçi on the grounds that you scared of *cannot protect* them from your supporters. And you couldn’t protect them. One of your supporters slapped our administrator in the face. You became champions and you acted like nothing was happened. And all of these got away with you.  Then Men’s Final Series started. Contrary to you, Fenerbahçe hosted your administrators in a lodge in the first two matches. They did it at the risk of losing their fans’ support. Fenerbahçe wanted “peace”. They didn’t want any revenge of your acts in Women’s final series.
But you didn’t want that “peace”. You asked for it. In two home games, you tied series in 2-2 with the help of the referee decisions and violence. To make matters worse, you affronted Fenerbahçe through a script written on the score board. You got a “playing without spectators” penalty from Turkish Basketball Association because of 3 warning announcements made during the 4^th game due to abusive cheering. But 33 announcements should have been made instead of 3. Then Fenerbahçe held a press conference. They told abovementioned situations respectively.
Fenerbahçe outscored in the 5^th match. Supporters of Fenerbahçe were more aggressive than first two games but comparing with Galatasaray fans in Abdi İpekçi, they acted very calmly.
Only 1 announce made in 5^th match even though your incitements. But this wasn’t enough for you. You took support from police lineup. Events went in your favor, but you burned your boats of which reason cannot be understood by anyone. You ignored your players’ labors. Though, you don't know anything about labor.
As to your decision, you will not take the field. It’s your choice.
You have a really good ability of lying. Please, in addition to field, will not go out anywhere outside.
You damage and poison the Turkey’s sports quality.

CONCLUSION

• Fenerbahçe’s sportive and economical role wanted to be *assigned* to Galatasaray with July the 3rd plot (Named Match-Fixing Trial. In real it was a judicial plot. All the things relevant is there: http://noavas.blogspot.com.tr/2014/04/how-was-right-to-fair-trial-violated-in.html). For doing this, the government structured a stadium for Galatasaray. Moreover, Galatasaray has a lot of tax debts. Their players played in matches even they were shown red card in previous matches. When analyzed, we understand that they became champions 2 years row in a very comfortable condition. But shameless government kid didn’t content with them.
• Galatasaray must have thought that the 3^rd July plot would continue for 100 years. They proceeded on their way with becoming indebted. They haven’t improved their economical conditions. Hence, they got away from heavy penalties with just 200.000 Euro. But, if they cannot make 62 Million Euro profit next season, they cannot get away with such light penalties.
• In men’s final series, they played their role that they started in Women’s final. They created a tension on purpose and even Fenerbahçe didn’t respond to them, they followed their plan and didn’t take the field. Their purpose was, killing four birds with one stone. They sacrificed their Basketball branch and labors of players to their insidious plans. What were these 4 birds?

1. Without using their supporter’s hates to Fenerbahçe, they cannot decide to go downsizing. Even there are some Galatasaray supporters who don’t believe this excuse, many of them have believed this. In the short term, their plan is working. They will go downsizing because of *Fenerbahçe*. But we don’t believe this excuse.
2. There is a crisis. They do not sink alone. They want to sink Turkish sports organizations. Because of that, they exercised power over Ülker, sponsor of Fenerbahçe. They want to remove the sponsors. They can get dangerous easily. This is our arch rival.
3. Retrial decisions for 3^rd July plot will be decided by both 13^th High Criminal Court and Constitutional Court. This will be militating in favor of Fenerbahçe in their relations with UEFA. And Galatasaray knows that. If Fenerbahçe go directly to the Champions League, Galatasaray will has to play knock out games for enterin Champions League and this means that they will miss a really good chance. Hence, they aren’t talking about basketball in their theater play named “June 17^th Attitude”. They are threatening component authority in public with their words.  They implied that if retrial decisions are decided, they will withdraw from the football league. But anybody asks that question: The main topic was basketball, why you are talking about football Ünal Aysal? (The president of Galatasaray SK.)
4. Also a decision will be decided by Switzerland Federal Court. This decision will not include any thing about match fixing. Federal Court will research the procedure of the case and maybe it makes a decision to halt the execution of Fenerbahçe. In last 3 years, we have watched a theater. In this game all of the roles have been against to us. With the decisions decided by 13^th High Criminal Court, Constitutional Court and Switzerland Federal Court something can change on behalf of I am not joking, as in final series of Men’s league, our football team can withdraw from football league”. He threatens competent authorities. 

Killing 4 birds with one stone. As I always say; they are devil. They lie to you even you ask them a simple question.

Rising the bait and believing the artificial agenda are up to you.
